Ok, you know how it is… I got busy at work and at home and what goes to the wayside first? You guessed it - the blog. I have managed to lose another 4 pounds since I last checked in. I tried the carb-cycling thing as well - more about that in a future post, however, I will say that was one of the reasons for not posting. With the carb-cycling, I couldn't take leftovers to work the next day, so I had to prepare all the next day's foods the night before plus dinner for that night. Lots and lots of prep work. But it seemed to have worked.
I'm including protein shakes in my menu lately because my work schedule is now allowing me to be home during my afternoon snack time. I love protein shakes!! What kind of protein powder (if any) do you use? I use MRM Natural Whey. This stuff is soooo tasty and not gritty either. In other news, I got shot #2 last Friday and I think I'm seeing improvement, but I can't be sure yet. If nothing else, the pain has moved a bit and isn't as intense, so I guess that's something. I snapped this pic on the doc's wall as well. The typical neuroma is exactly where mine is, only on the left foot instead of right.
